First Aid Coaching delivers practical, compliant first aid training designed specifically for schools and educational environments.

We work with both students and staff, providing training that reflects real-life scenarios in primary and post-primary settings. Our approach focuses on building confidence, practical ability, and clear decision-making in emergency situations.

All training is delivered on-site and scheduled around your school timetable, with flexible options depending on your requirements.

Training for students and staff

We provide training for two key groups within schools:

  • Students (TY programmes and school groups) Basic First Aid training designed to give students practical, real-life emergency response skills. Sessions are engaging, age-appropriate, and focused on building confidence.
  • Staff and teachers Training options include Basic First Aid or First Aid Response (FAR), depending on your school’s needs. Suitable for teachers, SNAs, and staff responsible for student safety and welfare.
  • Combined training option Schools can choose to train both students and staff. Where programmes are delivered together, we offer flexible, reduced pricing options.

Flexible delivery for schools

Every school operates differently, so our training is designed to adapt.

  • Group sizes We can accommodate anything from small groups to large cohorts of 170+ students.
  • Scalable delivery Training can be delivered across multiple sessions or days, depending on your timetable.
  • Multiple instructors For larger groups, additional instructors are provided to maintain quality and engagement.
  • On-site training All training takes place at your school, reducing disruption and making scheduling easier.

Delivery, pricing and certification

Training is designed to be flexible and tailored to each school. We offer competitive pricing based on your specific requirements, including group size, programme structure and delivery format. This allows us to work with a wide range of schools and budgets.

We regularly deliver training to both small classes and large groups, and can scale delivery as needed. For larger groups, additional instructors are provided to ensure all participants receive the same level of engagement and practical experience.

All participants receive a First Aid Coaching certificate on completion, valid for two years. Where appropriate, we can also incorporate the Irish Heart Foundation “Hands for Life” programme, providing an additional certificate in CPR and AED awareness.

Training is delivered on-site and scheduled around your school timetable. Sessions can be structured across multiple classes, days or time blocks to minimise disruption and suit your school’s schedule.

A practical, school-focused approach

We understand the realities of school environments, varying group sizes, limited time, and different levels of need. Our aim is to make training straightforward, practical, and accessible, while ensuring staff and students leave with skills they can confidently apply.
